Robert was born in 1994.
As a kid he always wanted to become an archaeologist.

Watching documentaries on TV and reading books about archeology, he was fascinated that though an object a person could explain about civilizations that lived thousands of years ago. How they lived, what they embodied and how they interacted with their objects.

Even though Robert did not become an archeologist, he still finds a lot of objects in his surroundings. Collecting and reading those neglected objects, he finds critical issues in the marketing, the industrial processes and the handling of consumer products.

Robert wants to change the way we see the objects around us and the relationship we have with them.

With his latest project ‘NEW!’ he tries to change the notion of what new is. By revealing the potential of what others perceive as waste, he shows that there are possibilities beyond the intended use.

“There are new shapes hidden in our old objects, waiting to be discovered.”
